Things to Do With Kids in Playa Flamenca

The beach and the coves

Playa Flamenca has a sandy beach with coves either side, joined by a paved promenade. It works with a pushchair, there is shade in places, and there are cafés along the way.

The Saturday market

One of the biggest markets on this part of the coast takes place on Saturday mornings in Playa Flamenca. With children it is an early-morning plan; by late morning it is busy and hot.

Centro Comercial Flamenca Beach

The commercial centre is where families end up for shops, cafés and services. Dream Park is inside it, which is why an hour of play often gets combined with the weekly errands.

Indoor play at Dream Park

Indoor play for children with a café for parents in the same room, plus birthday parties. It is the covered option in Playa Flamenca when it is raining, when it is too hot, or when the children simply need to run.

Playgrounds and green space

There are neighbourhood playgrounds across the urbanisation and flat streets for scooters and bikes. Mornings and evenings are the usable hours in summer.

Just outside Playa Flamenca

• La Zenia — Cala Bosque beach and Zenia Boulevard, a few minutes away.
• Punta Prima and Cabo Roig — wider beaches and the coastal walk.
• Villamartín and Los Dolses — quieter residential areas nearby.
• Torrevieja — a bigger town with an enclosed shopping centre and cinema.
